Montgomerie Links Masters 2024 officially kicked off at Montgomerie Links Golf Club on Sunday, March 31, 2024, with the participation of 136 golfers. In the end, 17-year-old young talent Ha Nam Khanh became the Montgomerie Links Masters 2024 champion, clinching his first Green Jacket.

The chase scores produced a fair share of dramatic moments. In the end, 17-year-old young talent Ha Nam Khanh became the Montgomerie Links Masters 2024 champion, clinching his first Green Jacket.

SPECIAL IMPRESSIONS FROM ACTIVITIES AROUND MONTGOMERIE LINKS MASTERS 2024

Beginning in 2013, Montgomerie Links Masters has created an inspirational playground from one of the world's four most prestigious golf tournaments - The Masters to the local golf community every March. This tournament is also the dream of the legendary Green Jacket that every participating golfer wishes to own.

With investment in organizational scale and continuous innovation from the Club, this season, activities before and during the tournament have brought participants unforgettable emotions and impressions. Specifically, Road to the Masters is a series of practice rounds for golfers to prepare well for the game, lasting up to 10 days and offering attractive novelty prizes. During the day of the event, players and those who are really into golf joined the Super Demo Day session to experience the latest product lines from the combination of TaylorMade and Majesty while warming up and getting ready for the tournament. Besides, there was a minigame in hole 13, which was challenging but exciting. Noticeably, a highlight that should be mentioned is the opening shot performed by the General Director of Montgomerie Links Golf Club - Mr. Bui Phuoc My, and a trio of former Montgomerie Links Masters champions, including golfers Tran Van Hieu, Kim Chong Su, and Ha Ngoc Hoang Loc at hole 13. That leads to a lively ambiance to start the game.

MONTGOMERIE LINKS MASTERS 2024 CHAMPION BELONGED TO A 17-YEAR-OLD TALENT - GOLFER HÀ NAM KHÁNH

Compete among 18 challenging golf holes designed by the legendary Colin Montgomerie, winners of which have been determined. With the result of 78 strokes, the Best Gross belonged to golfer Ha Nam Khanh with the joy and congratulations of 135 other players. In addition to the Championship trophy and the legendary Green Jacket, he also got to own a Mizuno golf carry bag; 1 round-trip Business class ticket by Vietnam Airlines; a voucher from Cole Hann worth 5 million VND; and one advanced general health checkup package at Tam Tri hospital worth 8 million VND. In particular, the most impressive and valuable moment that everyone at the Gala Dinner totally agreed on was when three former champions handed over the Green Jacket to Mr. Ha Nam Khanh - the champion of Montgomerie Links Masters 2024. Believe it or not, the Green Jacket image has become the ultimate symbol of golfing success for the Masters' championship.

In turn, the winners in D Division (HDC 25 – 36), C Division (HDC 19 – 24) and B Division (HDC 14 – 18) are Mr. Ngo Nhat Nam (83 – 30 – 53), Nguyen Hung (88 - 23 - 65) and Nguyen Van Hung (86 – 17 – 69). With a Handicap cutoff from 0 to 13, A Division includes many single-handicapped golfers, so there were dramatic competitions. Golfer Nguyen Xuan Hoat, with a score of 82 – 13 – 69, surpassed Tran Long (80 – 10 – 70) and Vo Duy Tan Huy (83 - 11 - 72) to finish first place in A Division.

Especially, Ms. Le Thi Lan Phuong convincingly wrote her name on the winning trophy in the Ladies' Division.

Novelty prizes, including Nearest to the Pin in holes 2, 5, 11 and 14 were respectively awarded to golfers Pham Huy Vu, Vo Ngoc Vu, Le Thanh and Pham Huy Vu. Two Longest Drive prizes belonged to Le Thi Vinh and Tran Thai Hung.
