Implemented as part of the 16th Montgomerie Links Club Championships, Green Hope 2026 aims to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have recently gained university admission, helping them overcome initial financial challenges and pursue their educational aspirations. With the generous contributions of Members, golfers, sponsors and partners, the project successfully raised 270,300,000 VND.

 

 

During the first presentation on 5 September 2026, nine students received support packages comprising laptops, motorbikes and cash scholarships. Building on this initiative, the remaining six students received their packages on 8 October 2026. Each package was tailored to the individual student’s educational needs, personal circumstances and aspirations. From transportation and learning equipment to scholarships, the support was designed to ease the challenges of starting university and help students embark on this new chapter with greater confidence.

 

  
For Montgomerie Links, the value of a tournament extends beyond the experience on the golf course to the positive impact it can create in the wider community. Since 2018, community fundraising initiatives have been an integral part of the Club’s annual Club Championships, connecting a shared passion for golf with the spirit of generosity and social responsibility.

This commitment was also recognised at the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2026, where Montgomerie Links Golf Club was honoured in the “Best Community Support Golf Course 2026” category. This recognition reflects the Club’s ongoing efforts to support the community and inspires Montgomerie Links to continue developing meaningful initiatives that create lasting positive impact.
