Open Masters Tournament 2023 officially starts on Sunday 26th March. Montgomerie Links Golf Club is looking for the next champion to own the priceless gift called "Green Jacket''.

Green Jacket, which was introduced originally by Roberts and golfer Bobby Jones in 1937, is the unique icon for The Masters' tournament. From that time, it is given to the person who wins in the annual tournament.
Members of Augusta National were encouraged to dress up in these jackets throughout the golf tournament in order to stand out to spectators. When a visiting Bobby Jones attended a banquet, Royal Liverpool in England was the source of the inspiration. Interestingly, club captains were recognized by the same jackets. After realizing this, Bobby Jones and co-founder Clifford Roberts brought this idea to the Augusta National club and turned it into a "Green Jacket".
Sam Snead was the first champion to receive the Masters Green Jacket in 1949 and since then, the fame around this tradition has grown fast. Members of Augusta National and Masters winners are eligible to wear this jacket. Club members are only permitted to wear their jackets on the grounds of Augusta National. After their impressive win, Masters champions are allowed to keep their green jacket at home. However, they are required to give it back to the clubhouse staff before the following year's tournament.
The green jacket is still one of the most valuable and well-guarded awards in sports today, and for good reason.

Admiring the great competitive spirit of professional golfers, Montgomerie Links Golf Club decided to select the name and iconic image of Masters' Green Jacket as the main theme for the golf tournament in 2013. Tran Van Hieu, Kim Chong Su, Ha Ngoc Hoang Loc, Hoang Quan, and Joshua Ky were Masters champions and received the prestigious green jacket in 2021, 2020, 2015, 2014 and 2013, respectively. From this time onwards, with the professional quality of the tournament significantly enhanced and the boundlessly connective sporty spirit, 2023 is expected to be the competition for the championship title and will be extremely attractive and sensational.
This year, the Open Masters Tournament officially starts on Sunday 26th March 2023. Hence, Montgomerie Links Golf Club is looking for the next champion to own the priceless gift called "Green Jacket''.
Accompanying us in the tournament, the expected 132 golfers are our strategic partners and sponsors.
