HA NAM KHANH WINS HIS SECOND GREEN JACKET AT MONTGOMERIE LINKS MASTERS 2026

On April 5, 2026, Montgomerie Links Masters 2026 officially concluded after an exciting day of competition, bringing together 140 golfers. Played on the 18-hole course designed by legendary Colin Montgomerie, the 9th edition delivered dramatic moments, with the leaderboard constantly shifting and the outcome only decided in the final holes.

A TEST OF SKILL ON A COURSE DESIGNED BY COLIN MONTGOMERIE

More than just an annual tournament, Montgomerie Links Masters continues to challenge golfers with a meticulously maintained course, featuring smooth, rolling fairways and strategically placed bunkers that demand precision on every shot.

From the opening holes, the pace of play quickly intensified with tight competition among the field. Entering the back nine, pressure mounted as every shot had the potential to change the standings, creating a thrilling finish down the stretch.

HA NAM KHANH CLAIMS VICTORY AT MONTGOMERIE LINKS MASTERS 2026 WITH A RECORD 70

Golfer Ha Nam Khanh delivered a composed and consistent performance under pressure to secure the championship title. With a gross score of 70 - the best winning score in the tournament’s 9-year history, he claimed his second Montgomerie Links Masters title, following his first victory in 2024. This result further establishes the 19-year-old as one of the standout players in the tournament’s history.

In addition to the trophy and the iconic Green Jacket, Ha Nam Khanh received a range of valuable prizes, including a Garmin Approach S70, an Adidas golf bag, an ECCO Golf voucher, and exclusive gifts from tournament partners.

The Green Jacket ceremony, presented by defending champion Nguyen Sinh Hieu, once again served as an emotional highlight to close the tournament. Notably, it was Ha Nam Khanh who presented the jacket to Nguyen Sinh Hieu in the previous edition – creating a meaningful full-circle moment.

“Montgomerie Links Masters is always a special event for the Club. Beyond competition, we aim to create a complete experience and memorable moments for every golfer,” shared Ms. Le Vo Hoang Van, Club Manager. “The Green Jacket is not only a prize, but also a symbol of journey, character, and personal achievement for each champion.”

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES ACROSS DIVISIONS

Beyond the race for the overall title, the tournament also showcased impressive performances across various handicap divisions.

Mai Van Quang delivered a steady performance to top Division D (92–24–68), while Buii Khanh Toan and Doan Trong Noi secured first place in Division C (87–21–68) and Division B (84–15–69), respectively.

In Division A, which features single-digit handicappers, competition remained intense until the final holes. Tran Long made a decisive late surge to claim the top position with a total score of 73–6–68. In the ladies' division, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Yen impressed with consistent play throughout the round to earn the top title.

The novelty prizes added further excitement to the tournament. Nearest to the Pin winners included Kim Byung Wook, Le Ngoc Huy, Vo Duy Tan Huy, and Kozai Yasuhiro, while Longest Drive titles were claimed by Hoang Thi Bich Thuy and Nguyen Quang Tho.

The par-3 holes once again stood out as key highlights, offering Hole-in-One prizes valued at over VND 2 billion, including a Subaru Forester 2.0i-L Eyesight. Despite several near-perfect shots, no official Hole-in-One was recorded this season, leaving anticipation for future editions.
