On 15 September 2026, Montgomerie Links Golf Club was proudly recognised as the “Best Community Support Golf Course 2026” at the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2026. The award acknowledges the Club’s long-standing commitment to balancing business growth with social responsibility, while creating meaningful and lasting value for the local community
MONTGOMERIE LINKS: GROWING TOGETHER WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
Throughout its development journey, Montgomerie Links has always viewed the local community as an integral part of its long-term sustainability strategy. Today, the Club provides stable employment for more than 500 people, the majority of whom come from Da Nang and the former Quang Nam Province. Opportunities are available across a wide range of roles, including caddies, golf course operations, turf maintenance, food and beverage services, customer service, and administration. Beyond employment opportunities, Montgomerie Links is committed to creating a supportive working environment through staff welfare initiatives such as subsidised meals, transportation services, regular professional training programmes, and a variety of annual employee engagement activities.

At the same time, the Club prioritises working with local suppliers, service providers, and business partners whenever appropriate, helping to strengthen the regional economic ecosystem. A significant portion of the food and agricultural products used across the Club’s dining operations is sourced from trusted local producers in Da Nang and Quang Nam, ensuring quality while also showcasing the region’s rich agricultural heritage to domestic and international visitors.
CONTRIBUTING TO THE GROWTH OF CENTRAL VIETNAM AS A GOLF DESTINATION
As the first golf course to open along Vietnam’s Central Coast, Montgomerie Links has played an active role in the development of golf tourism in the region for nearly two decades. By welcoming tens of thousands of domestic and international golfers each year, the Club has helped strengthen Da Nang’s reputation as one of Vietnam’s leading golf destinations. Beyond daily operations, Montgomerie Links actively collaborates with the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre, the Da Nang Golf Tourism Association, and the Vietnam Golf Coast alliance on a wide range of golf tourism campaigns, tournaments, and promotional activities both domestically and internationally.

These initiatives not only enhance the golfing experience but also contribute to attracting high-value visitors, creating opportunities for growth across the hospitality, culinary, tourism, and service sectors throughout the region. Montgomerie Links believes that every round of golf represents more than a sporting experience, it is also an opportunity to introduce the natural beauty, culture, and people of Central Vietnam to visitors from around the world, further enhancing the long-term appeal of the destination.

CSR PROJECTS NAMED GREEN HOPE – MONTGOMERIE LINKS’ COMMUNITY IMPACT JOURNEY SINCE 2018
Montgomerie Links’ commitment to community support extends beyond its day-to-day operations through Green Hope, the Club’s flagship annual CSR project, launched in 2018 as part of the Club Championships. Through fundraising activities supported by golfers, partners, sponsors, and employees, Green Hope has become a platform for delivering meaningful assistance to those who need it most. Every project is implemented in close collaboration with local authorities to ensure transparency, proper verification, and support that directly addresses real community needs. More importantly, Green Hope focuses on creating long-term impact by expanding educational opportunities, improving quality of life, and supporting sustainable community development.
Over the years, Green Hope has supported a wide range of meaningful projects. In 2018, the programme funded large-scale water purification systems, school facility upgrades, and scholarships for disadvantaged students in Quang Nam. In 2020, Green Hope partnered with Ky Anh Foundation to support children with disabilities and developmental challenges, while also assisting other disadvantaged families throughout Quang Nam Province. In 2022, fundraising efforts were directed toward the Heart Surgery Fund of the Dear Brothers Group, helping underprivileged patients access life-saving cardiac treatment. Continuing this spirit, in 2023 Green Hope provided direct support to 22 disadvantaged individuals and families identified and verified by local authorities, helping ease financial burdens and create opportunities for a better future.

A significant milestone came in 2024, when Green Hope evolved from short-term charitable assistance into a long-term community development programme. The Free Swimming and Drowning Prevention Programme for underprivileged children in Da Nang was launched and has continued through 2026. Over two years, the initiative delivered 14 courses, enabling nearly 200 children to learn swimming and acquire essential water safety and drowning prevention skills—particularly important for communities living along Vietnam’s central coastline.

In 2025, representatives of the board of directors of Montgomerie Links Golf Club had the honour of presenting 6 billion VND in support of Quang Nam Province’s program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. This contribution is part of the 25 billion VND pledged by TBS Group – the parent company of Montgomerie Links – to support the program nationwide.

Continuing this journey, Green Hope 2026 successfully raised more than VND 270 million to support underprivileged university freshmen from Dien Ban Dong Ward, Da Nang. Based on each student’s individual needs and aspirations, the programme provided educational support packages including laptops, motorbikes, and scholarships, helping ease financial pressures and empowering students to confidently begin their university education.

“BEST COMMUNITY SUPPORT GOLF COURSE 2026” – RECOGNISING A LONG-TERM COMMITMENT
The Best Community Support Golf Course 2026 award at the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards is not recognition of a single project or initiative. Rather, it reflects a long-term commitment in which social responsibility has become an integral part of Montgomerie Links’ operating philosophy, with every effort focused on creating meaningful and sustainable value for the community in which the Club operates.

Commenting on the award, Ms. Alice Van Le, Club Manager of Montgomerie Links Golf Club, shared: “We believe that a golf course should be measured not only by the quality of its facilities and services, but also by the positive impact it creates for the surrounding community. This award is a proud achievement for the entire Montgomerie Links team, while also recognising the golfers, partners, sponsors, and local communities who have supported us throughout this journey of creating meaningful social impact.”
For Montgomerie Links, this recognition is not a destination but an encouragement to continue expanding its community and sustainability initiatives in the years ahead, ensuring that every tournament, every project, and every milestone contributes to creating lasting positive change for the local community.
