MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE AT MONTGOMERIE LINKS GOLF CLUB IN 2025

The quality of a golf course extends far beyond its visual appeal. While lush, green fairways may catch the eye, it's the playability, consistency, and behind-the-scenes care that truly define a golfer’s experience. That’s why course maintenance remains a top priority at Montgomerie Links.
I. ANNOUNCEMENT OF HOLLOW TINING GREENS’ SCHEDULE AT MONTGOMERIE LINKS GOLF CLUB
One of the most important annual practices currently taking place is hollow tining of the green, a crucial procedure in preserving premium playing conditions. Using specialised equipment, small holes are punched into the surface of the greens. This allows air, water, and nutrients to penetrate deep into the soil, giving the turf an opportunity to “breathe.”
Far more than just a surface refresh, hollow tining helps to alleviate soil compaction and promote stronger, deeper root growth. As a result, the greens retain their vibrant colour, stay resilient underfoot, and deliver the smooth, consistent ball roll.
The Club would like to inform you that we will be hollow-tinning our greens on the 6th and 7th of May 2025 as follows:
6 May 2025:
- Tee time from 5:59 AM to 11:03 AM: Playing 2 rounds from hole 10 to 18.
- Tee time after 11:03 AM: Playing from holes 10 to 18 and continuing to play from hole 1 to 9.
7 May 2025:
- Tee time from 5:59 AM to 9:35 AM: Playing 2 rounds from hole 1 to 9.
- Tee time after 11:11 AM: Playing 18 holes; start from hole 1 to 18.
It is a clear reflection of Montgomerie Links’ ongoing commitment to maintain the standards of the golf course, ensuring that every round lives up to the expectations of golfers.
II. SPECIAL OFFERS DURING THE MAINTENANCE PERIOD AT MONTGOMERIE LINKS GOLF CLUB
During the maintenance period, a special rate for 18 holes will be applied as follows:
Terms & Conditions:
- Includes green, caddy, and shared cart for 18 Holes.
- This offer is not in conjunction with events, packages, vouchers, other promotions, or offers.
- Promotion for Member’s Day on Thursday is applied as a standard policy.
Once again, thank you for your understanding about the annual hollow tinning of green at our golf course. The Club is looking forward to seeing your continued companionship, support, and trust.
