Review of 2nd Montgomerie Links Club Championship

The Montgomerie Links has successfully organized the 2nd Montgomerie Links Club Championship with over 100 participants including club members and guests on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August 2011. This annual tournament is the most sought after trophy on our members golfing calendar. Over USD 24,000 worth of prizes thanks to an array of sponsors was available making the competition amongst members and their guests fierce.

The winners of the tournament were:

  • 1. Club Championship 36 Hole Gross: Mr. Ha Ngoc Hoang Loc - Gross 158
  • 2. Nett Champion 36 Hole: Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh - Nett 136
  • 3. Ladies 36 Hole: Mr. Kang Kyung Ok - Nett 146
  • 4. Division A Handicap 36 Hole: Mr. Le Ngoc Tu - Nett 145
  • 5. Division B Handicap 36 Hole: Mr. Tran Van Hai - Nett 142
  • 6. Callaway Division 36 Hole Mr. Than Duc Nam - Nett 140
  • 7. Guest Division 36 Hole Mr. Khong Hoai Nam - Nett 144
  • 8. Junior Division 36 Hole Nguyen Hung Dung - Nett 140

Everyone enjoyed the tournament closing with lucky draw and a gala presentation including acclaimed performers entertaining. The Montgomerie Links continues to provide an attractive golfing calendar of events. We look forward to seeing each other again for the Third Montgomerie Links Club Championship in 2012.

Review of the Montgomerie Links Inaugural Club Championship

On Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th August, 2010 The Montgomerie Links hosted our Inaugural Club Championship. This annual tournament is the most sought after trophy on our members golfing calender and also the first time in Vietnam a golf course has held the event over two days. Over USD 20,000 worth of prizes thanks to an array of sponsors was available making the competition amongst members and their invited guests fierce.
